GOLF
Westminster's men's golf team had a two-day total of 623 to place fifth out of 16 teams at the Nike/Ocean City Classic in Ocean City, Md. The event, which includes the region's top small college programs, was won by Wesley College with 599. Medalist was Shepherd College's David Bradshaw tih 144. Westminster freshman Gary McGovern (Mount Lebanon HS) was tied for 14th with 154. Other Titan finishers were: senior Drew Aufderheide (Allegheny HS) with 156, freshman Matt Kurtz (DuBose HS) with 158, sophomore Scott Voelker (Washington, Pa.) with 161 and freshman John Matune (Kennedy Catholic HS) with 163.
