Buckeye Elks Lodge 73 honored these individuals Friday night at the annual "fezzing" ceremony at the lodge's youth center on North Avenue, Youngstown.
HENRY HOLDEN JR.
Career: Funeral director-embalmer, L.E. Black, Phillips & amp; Holden Funeral Home, Youngstown, since 1992; Thacker Engineering Corp., Miami, Fla., 1979-91, serving as senior vice president from 1987-91; Youngstown Area Development Corp., 1972-79.Education: The Rayen School, 1968; Denison University, 1972; Youngstown State University, bachelor's degree in business administration, 1980; Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, 1992.Professional organizations: Ohio Embalmers Association, Ohio Funeral Directors Association.Community activities: Covenant Lodge 59, East Side Kiwanis, Youngstown Area Urban League.Family: Wife, Pamela; two children, Henry III and Lydia.

Gillam & amp; Associates for 33 years, Youngstown 1st Ward councilman and chairman of council's off-street parking and safety committee.Education: Graduate of Youngstown North High School and attended Youngstown State University majoring in business administration.Community activities: Executive director of Learning Carpentry & amp; Painting group; former vice president of Youngstown Community Improvement Corp.; former board of directors chairman of Youngstown Area Urban League; past president of Northeast Homeowners Association; former committee member for Eastern Mental Health; former member of Associated Neighborhood Centers and Mahoning County Planning Commission; former member of American Red Cross and American Cancer Society.Family: Wife, A. Louise; four children; seven grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
J. GERALD INGRAM

Lordstown Assembly Plant; coaches youths in baseball, basketball and football.Eddie Stewart: House committee; member for 41/2 years; worked for U.S. Concrete & amp; Pipe and Esroc Material Co.
SPECIAL RECOGNITION
The lodge doled out special recognition honors to these women:
Sarah Brown Clark: Youngstown clerk of courts since 1979; associate professor of English since 1972 at Youngstown State University, where she also served 12 years as director of its Black Studies Program and coordinator of YSU's Black History Month programs. She earned her bachelor's degree cum laude from Ohio University in 1971 and her master's degree in English from OU in 1972. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, the Order of Eastern Star, and Third Baptist Church, Youngstown. She is the mother of three children.Eugenia Atkinson: Executive director, Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority since 2000. She is a member of YSU trustees board and a director of Home Savings and Loan Co. and Western Reserve Care System and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She is past president of the Youngstown alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She earned an associate degree from YSU in 1971 and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Hiram College in 1989. She is the wife of Youngstown Councilman Richard Atkinson, D-3rd, and they have five children and four grandchildren.
