52nd anniversary
YOUNGSTOWN -- Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its 52nd anniversary during the annual "Latter Rain Holy Convocation."
At 6:30 p.m. Friday, the Rev. C.M. Jenkins and Greater Friendship Baptist Church will provide ministry. At 6:30 p.m. next Saturday, The King's Dominion Choir, under the direction of Margaret E. Rainey, will present a concert entitled, "The Drought Is Over!" Special guest will include Grammy-nominated recording artist Eddie Howard.
Doris Neal of the Centenary United Methodist Church will be the speaker at 10:45 a.m. Nov. 3. Bishop Norman L. Wagner, pastor of Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church, will be the keynote speaker at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 3.
Fall Rally Day planned
SALEM -- Salem Wesleyan Methodist Church will have its Fall Rally Day at 10 a.m. Sunday. The speaker will be Dr. Robert England and special music will be provided by the Don Qualyes Family. Call (330) 332-1992 or (330) 221-0139.
Benefit concert set
YOUNGSTOWN -- Protestant Family Service presents a "Make A Joyful Noise Concert" benefit concert at 6 p.m. next Saturday at Martin Luther Lutheran Church. An offering will benefit PFS.
Halloween alternative
NEW CASTLE -- Calvary Worship Temple will have a Halloween alternative with the theme "Stars 'N Stripes" at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The free event for age 3 through grade six. Children can have their photo taken with Uncle Sam. Call (724) 658-4777.
Club Fusion for those in grade seven through college will be at 7 p.m. today at Cascade Park. The cost is $2. There will be a disc jockey and games.
Senior ushers day
YOUNGSTOWN -- The senior ushers of Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate their annual day at 4 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Dean Robinson of Everlife Worship Center will be the speaker.
Ministers to speak
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Revs. Beth Holden Backes, formerly of Columbiana County, and her husband, Greg, have been inner-city pastors in New York and Minneapolis for several years. They are following a call to begin a church in Seattle, the most unchurched city in America, according to one newspaper survey. They will be traveling to speak at several churches in the Youngstown area.

Christian banquet
HUBBARD -- The Christian Family Fellowship Banquet at 6:30 Friday at Brentford House will feature evangelist Deborah Sanders of "Hour of Power" in Farrell, Pa.
