Business handled Tuesday night by trustees:
WEATHERSFIELD
Trustees instructed the clerk to seeks bids for radio equipment for the police and fire departments, including a repeater in the towers, which will help boost the signal sent from the base tower at the administration building to both police and fire vehicles, which are on separate frequencies.
They also told the clerk to seek bids on a new hydraulic system and for equipment for a new dump truck that is on order.
LIBERTY
Trustees agreed to advertise for a maintenance mechanic to replace the retiring Leo Bakes. The new hire, who would start at about $10 an hour, with full benefits, including pension, would perform maintenance work on township vehicles and buildings.
