AARP 2520
XPoland Chapter 2520, AARP, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Poland Methodist Church. Guest speaker will be Mona Pocatko of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County. Members should take an item for the food bank. Dorothy Pavliga will preside. Guests may attend.
AARP 4545
XBoardman South Chapter 4545, AARP, will hold a luncheon meeting at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 7 at the Boardman Holiday Inn. Menu choice will be roast turkey and all the trimmings or baked scrod. Reservations are $12 each and may be made by sending a check to Frances Ritz, 2835 Poland Village Blvd., Poland, Ohio 44514, by Friday. Indicate menu preference on check. Roselle Stickel will preside, and birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. The program will be "In His Service" by Rex and Beth Dingey. Guests are welcome. Dues of $4 will be collected, and members are asked to take canned goods and paper products for the Rescue Mission.

XCommercial Intertech, SOAR retirees, will meet at noon Tuesday at Sam Camens Center with Lou Pizzuto presiding. There will be nomination of officers, a Chinese auction, reports and lunch. The guest speaker will be the chief security officer from Home Savings.

XDelphi Packard Electric Systems Local 717 Retirees will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the local hall, 2950 Sferra Drive, Warren. Members should take a covered dish and label it. Those attending may dress in costume for Halloween.
GIRARD
XGirard Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the senior center. A hot dog luncheon will be served. Cost is $2. Call Betty Hosterman, (330) 539-5613, by Monday for reservations.
HOLY FAMILY
XHoly Family Seniors will meet at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the K. of C. Hall in Poland. There will be refreshments, a 50-50 drawing, cards and bingo. Nonperishable items will be collected for Poland Food Pantry. Hostesses will be Tina Svetlak and Florence Kennedy. Guests and new members are welcome.

XMembers of Holy Name Seniors will meet for lunch, cards and bingo at 1 p.m. Oct. 27 at the church social hall. Nomination of officers is on the agenda, and $3 dues will be collected. Hostesses are Katherine Kendall, Eleanor Krajcirik, Helen Bolha and Sophie Kvaka.

XActivities in the senior adult program at the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, are: Monday, talk with social workers from 11 to 11:45 a.m., meat lunch of tossed salad, spaghetti and meat sauce, garlic bread and birthday cake at noon, tour of Daffin's candy store and Reyers shoe store, both in Sharon, at 1:15 p.m. with return about 5:30, cost is $3 and reservations should be made in the bursar's office; and Wednesday, dairy lunch at noon of tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, green beans and Jell-O with bananas. LIBERTY
XLiberty Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Church Hill United Methodist Church. Hostesses will be Bert Lightner, Audrey Coursen, Jan Whiteman and Mary Graggriah. There will be a soup and sandwich lunch, to which members are to take table service and the item they signed up to take.
Reservations are still being taken for the Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. New members are welcome.

XLocal 627 Retirees will meet promptly at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday at McDonald's on Belmont Avenue to depart for a trip to Rubbermaid.

XBridge, 500, chess, checkers and shuffleboard will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. XRoyal Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Nov. 4 at The Elm Tree in Struthers. Checks payable to the organization should be sent to 2033 Lynn Ave., Youngstown, Ohio 44514. Deadline for payment is Oct. 28. A bake sale will be held; all members are asked to participate. Monetary donations will be accepted from those unable to bake. Election of officers will be held. Tickets will be available for the Dec. 16 Christmas party. The party is free for members in good standing.
