FUNDRAISER Stambaugh Pillars to hold fashion show

Shopping sprees will be among the prizes.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Support for the refurbishing and restoration of Stambaugh Auditorium will be provided with proceeds from the sixth annual holiday fashion show, "Time of Your Life," to be sponsored by Stambaugh Pillars.
The fund-raising event has been scheduled for Nov. 6 at Stambaugh Auditorium, 1000 Fifth Avenue, and will begin at 10 a.m. with a social hour, followed by lunch at 11:30 and the fashion show at 1 p.m.
Mayor George McKelvey will give the opening remarks, and anchormen from WFMJ and members of Easy Street Little Rascals will be among the male models.
Raffle tickets will be sold for $1 each or six for $5, and drawings will be held for shopping sprees and 40 other prizes donated by area businesses.
Tickets for the fashion show are $30, and tables of eight will be available. Raffle and show tickets can be purchased by calling (330) 533-5225 or the auditorium at (330) 747-5175.
Robert Klein and Susan Henderson of Dillards' Department Store will serve as honorary chairman and show coordinator, respectively.

Co-chairmen for the project are Jeanne Simeone and JoAnn Iaderosa, and Virginia Gerberry is handling reservations. Committee members are Joyce Bernstine, Mary Jane Karam, Phyllis Wilkoff, Carol Desmond, Barbara Tinkham, Dorothy Melody, Kathleen Rickert, Norma Garritano, Antonia Douglass, Jan Cefalu, Valerie Zurawick and Leilani Drake.
