Austintown JWL to sponsor fund-raiser

Proceeds go toward the group's scholarship fund.
MINERAL RIDGE -- Members of Austintown Junior Women's League are selling tickets for the organization's fifth annual wine and cheese taste and Chinese auction Nov. 2.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. at Theodore's Banquet Centre, 1400 N. Canfield-Niles Road, and the wine and cheese taste will take place from 7:30 to 9. Appetizers and a cash bar will be available throughout the evening, which also will include music and dancing until 11:30. A Chinese auction and 50-50 raffle will be featured.
Tickets are available in advance or at the door for $45 a couple or $25 a single.
The league has awarded several scholarships to college-bound students during the last five years.
