MAHONING COUNTY Board to give shots for flu, pneumonia



The flu and pneumonia shots will be available throughout Mahoning County.
AUSTINTOWN -- The Mahoning County Board of Health will be giving flu and pneumonia shots at a variety of locations this month and next month to senior citizens, people with chronic medical conditions and people in occupations classified as high risk.
The cost is $10 for the flu shot and $20 for the pneumonia shot. No appointment is necessary. Medicare patients should bring their Medicare cards so the cost of the shots can be billed to that program.

Oct. 22 -- Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Oct. 24 -- Lowellville Village Hall, 140 E. Liberty St., 9-11:30 a.m.; Coitsville Township Building, 3737 McCartney Road, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Oct. 25 -- Boardman Township Hall, 8299 Market St., 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Oct. 28 -- Green Township Administration and Community Building, 12200 Lisbon Road, noon to 3:30 p.m.
Oct. 29 -- Milton Township Hall, Milton Avenue, Lake Milton, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Oct. 30 -- Board of Health Offices, 50 Westchester Drive, Austintown, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Oct. 31 -- Poland Township Hall, 3339 Dobbins Road, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Nov. 1 -- Sebring Community Center, 306 W. Texas Ave., 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
