BRACEVILLE -- The Newton Falls High volleyball team advanced in the Division III tournament Monday with a 15-5, 10-15, 15-10 victory over Pymatuning Valley at LaBrae Middle School.
Lora Mason led the Tigers (7-14) with 12 points, two aces, five kills and five digs, while Megan McElravey added nine points, two aces and five kills.
Also for Newton Falls, Ashley Shaver added five digs, three saves and six assists, and Molly Lenarcic added five kills.
Newton Falls will play second-seeded Burton Berkshire on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Garrettsville 15-15,Brookfield 2-13
For the Warriors (12-9), Regina Deramo came up with four points, four assists and 15 digs, while Jessica Zebroski added four points and 12 digs.
Also for Brookfield, Rachel Pasquerilla had three points, three kills and 12 digs.
