CORTLAND 37-unit apartment building will house senior citizens

CORTLAND -- Lake Vista at 303 Mecca St., state Route 46, will break ground at 1 p.m. Tuesday for Park Place, a 37-apartment unit designed for independent living for older adults in a three-story building.
The monthly rent includes 25 evening meals in the dining room, housekeeping services and all utilities, except telephone.
An attached, single-story assisted-living building will have 36 suites, including 12 designed for individuals with memory impairments.
Park Place will offer ancillary support services to accommodate the health-care needs of all residents of Lake Vista.
The builder, Murphey Contractors of Youngstown, will begin the project this month.
Refreshments and tours will follow the groundbreaking ceremony.
