Fashion show, luncheon set by Animal Welfare League

HOWLAND -- The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County will hold its 19th annual fashion show and luncheon Oct. 26 at the pavilion ballroom of the Avalon Inn and Resort.
"Lullaby of Broadway" has been chosen as the theme for the event.
The fashion show will feature a collection of seasonal clothing from several area men's and women's shops. Members of the league will serve as models and will be accompanied by animals belonging to league members.
Included in the event will be a general raffle for cash prizes of $500, $200 and $100, a Chinese auction that will offer a wide variety of articles, and a number of prizes.
Doors at the ballroom will open at noon, lunch will be served at 1 p.m. and the fashions will be displayed beginning at 2.
