ASSOCIATIONS
XO-My-O Chapter of American Business Women's Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Bruno's Restaurant in Poland. Cost for the Italian buffet is $14. XYoungstown Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will hold a dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the B & amp;O Station Restaurant, Youngstown. The menu will include grilled Smithfield pork loin, coffee or tea, and dessert for $17.95. The program will be Jeff and David Mirkin of Comfort Keepers, a nonmedical, in-home care company. AUXILIARIES

XAustintown Memorial Unit 301, American Legion Auxiliary members will attend the District 9 Fall Conference in Orwell Saturday. A regular meeting of the chapter is set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at 3652 Oakwood Ave., Austintown. Members will go to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Brecksville on Oct. 23 to entertain the veterans, and a reception is planned for 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 3 at Lake Milton Unit 737 in honor of Janet Batta, District 9 president. The Americanism and government test will be given to 10th- and 11th-grade students at Austintown Fitch High School on Nov. 7. Students will be competing for a nine-day, all-expense paid trip to Gettysburg, Washington and Williamsburg to take place in March 2003. The 301 Unit and Post will hold a dinner at 2 p.m. Nov. 10 for the Girl Staters and Boy Staters who represented them. All members are welcome.
XSt. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will meet for lunch at noon Monday in the dining rooms on the second floor. The program will include nomination of officers to be elected in November. There also will be a program on Dane's Antiques.
XStruthers K. of C. 4224 Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the hall. Donna Rios will be guest speaker, and hostesses will be Kay Urdea and Martha Sarna.
XVFW Post 3307 Auxiliary will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the post home. Blankets, toilet articles and nonperishable foods will be collected.
XVFW Post 3538 Auxiliary will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Reports will focus on the card party and Chinese auction planned for 6:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at the post. Inspection will take place and a luncheon will follow. Dues will be collected.
XYoungstown Eagles 213 Auxiliary will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the club with Melva Day presiding.

XHolborn Herb Growers Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Colonial Inn at the Canfield Fairgrounds to celebrate the organization's 20th anniversary. A high tea will be held with a theme of "20 Years of the Wonderful World of Herbs." This also will be guest night. The program, "Tea, Tea, Tea," will be presented by Denise Kellerman, storyteller. XDiocesan Infant Jesus of Prague Guild will hold a Day of Recollection Wednesday at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon on Lipkey Road, North Jackson. The rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., Mass will be at 10 and a luncheon at noon. There will be a Chinese auction. The luncheon will cost $10 and reservations are required.

XQuota International of Youngstown will meet for dinner at 6 p.m. Monday at Park Vista. The cost is $12. Reports will be given on the 6th District Conference held in September, and changes in bylaws will be discussed. Plans will be made for the club's 80th anniversary celebration, and articles will be collected for Beatitude House.
