Beer, wine at eatery
CORTLAND -- People dining out at one Cortland eatery will be able to order beer or wine with their meal.
Cortland had been dry for seven decades.
Final official election results released this week show that voters in Cortland's Precinct E approved beer and wine sales at Uncle Buck's Restaurant, at High and Main Streets, by a vote of 155 to 149.
Unofficial results released election night had shown the proposal failed. Steve Bodley, owner of the restaurant, said he will soon be offering wings and beer.
