XLOWELLVILLE -- Our Lady of Holy Rosary Church was the setting Oct. 26 for the wedding of Lucinda Marie Caparso, daughter of Albert and Susan Caparso, 2081 Stewart Road, and David Michael Dietz, a son of David Dietz, both of 3112 Dobbins Road, Poland, and Gloria Holt, 2438 Haviland, Mansfield.
The Rev. Gerald DeLucia presided at the 1 p.m. ceremony, and a reception followed at St. Nicholas Byzantine Center, Youngstown.
The couple left on a honeymoon cruise to the southern Caribbean and live at the Poland address.
Fashioned of white satin organza, the bride's A-line gown featured a halter neckline, embroidered and beaded bodice, split back and chapel train.
Navy-blue and silver gowns were worn by the bride's sisters and honor attendants, Alisa and Angela Caparso, and the bridesmaids, Christa Merkel, Angela Flak, Karie Flak and Jennifer Gray. Flower girl was the bride's cousin, Marissa Jenkins.
The duties of best man were shared by Christopher Flasher and Keith Deak, and groomsmen were George Dravecky, Eric Kiesel, Michael Binder and Anthony Caparso, the bride's brother. The groom's cousin, Robbie Felger, was ring bearer.
The bride graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is a juvenile-diversion specialist with Poland Township Police Department.
The groom is an elevator technician with Schindler Elevator in the Youngstown-Akron area.
