RHONDA RANCEJOSEPH BARBER
XCANFIELD -- Rhonda Ann Rance and Joseph Francis Barber were married at 2 p.m. Oct. 26 at Canfield United Methodist Church.
Parents of the couple are Edward and Victoria Rance of Youngstown and Marie Barber of Youngstown and the late Michael Barber.
The Rev. Dr. George Lee officiated, and a reception took place at The Georgetown in Boardman.
After a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the newlyweds are living in Youngstown.
The bride wore a silk sateen gown designed with an off-the-shoulder neckline. It was embellished with pearls and sequins, and the skirt flowed to a cathedral train. Her cathedral veil was trimmed with satin, and she carried a bouquet of calla lilies.
Maid of honor was the bride's sister, Christine Rance of Alexandria, Va., and bridesmaid was the groom's daughter, Kimberly Barber of Norfolk, Va. They wore champagne-colored gowns. Flower girl was Alexis Garayua of Youngstown, the groom's great-niece.
Brian Barber of Boardman, the groom's nephew, performed the duties of best man, and groomsman was another nephew, Ronald Barber Jr. of Youngstown. His great-nephew, Vincent Garayua of Youngstown, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Barber holds an associate degree from ITT Technical Institute in Youngstown and is a clerk with the U.S. Probation Office in Youngstown.
Her husband is a safety trainer at General Motors Corp. in Lordstown.
