BANKING
WARREN -- Second National Bank has appointed Dean E. Nielsen as vice president, staff attorney, and promoted Karen A. Crosetto to assistant vice president, call center manager and Web administrator.
Nielsen joined the bank last month, coming from Harrington, Hoppe and Mitchell Ltd., where he was a partner and attorney. He has a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Denison University and a law degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Crosetto, a Youngstown State University graduate with a bachelor's degree in business administration, joined the bank in 1998. She will oversee the call center and the outbound sales department.
SOCIAL SERVICE
YOUNGSTOWN -- Siffrin Inc., a Canton nonprofit agency serving people with developmental disabilities, has hired Tom Mathews as regional director of operations in Mahoning and Trumbull counties. Mathews will oversee 10 group living homes, supported living services and foster family care services.
LAW
WARREN -- Kyde Bloor has accepted a position in the law offices of Michael D. Buzulencia in Warren and Canfield. An East Liverpool resident, Bloor has a bachelor's degree in political science from West Liberty State College in W.Va. and a law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in Cleveland. She will practice in the areas of bankruptcy, personal injury, real estate, wills and estates and civil litigation.
TRUCKING
YOUNGSTOWN -- Valley Industrial Trucks, Inc. has promoted Jim Hammond of Boardman to general manager of its Akron office. Hammond joined the company in 1993 as an outside sales representative and was promoted to sales manager last year. He has a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State.
HEALTH CARE
LIBERTY -- Clifford Craddock has been named administrator of Colonial Manor Care Center in Liberty. Craddock has a master's degree in business from the University of Dayton and a bachelor's degree in business from Wright State University. He lives in Dayton and will be relocating to the Mahoning Valley.
COMMUNICATION
CLEVELAND -- United Wireless has appointed a new general manager of sales for its Akron, Canton and Youngstown markets and a new area store manager for its Youngstown-Warren area.
Thad Tokash has joined the company as general manager of sales. With more than eight years of wireless sales experience, Tokash has a bachelor's degree in telecommunications from Youngstown State University. He lives in Akron and will be based in Cuyahoga Falls.
Bob Stackhouse of Youngstown has been named area store manager for stores in Boardman and Warren. Stackhouse attended Kent State University and has sales management experience with Alltel and Cingular. He will be based in Boardman.
