MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Nicole Ohlde had 20 points, and Kendra Wecker added 19 as No. 5 Kansas State beat Georgia Tech 83-59 Sunday in the second round of the preseason WNIT.
Megan Mahoney added 16 points and 12 assists, and Laurie Koehn had 13 for Kansas State (2-0). Mahoney was 4-of-5 from 3-point range.
Sonja Mallory led Georgia Tech (1-1) with 21 points and Fallon Stokes had 15. Kasha Terry had 11 rebounds.
Kansas State will play Southern California in the semifinals on Wednesday.
No. 14 Penn St. 90, Siena 61
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Kelly Mazzante scored 33 points to lead Penn State over Siena in the second round of the preseason WNIT.
Mazzante, who led the nation in scoring last season, had the 15th 30-point game of her career for the Lady Lions (2-0). All five Penn State starters scored double figures.
Penn State will host No. 24 Mississippi State in the semifinals Wednesday.
Liene Jansone scored 12 points for Siena (1-1).
No. 24 Mississippi State 92, Tulsa 66
STARKVILLE, Miss. -- LaToya Thomas scored 42 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead No. 24 Mississippi State (2-0) past Tulsa.
Tulsa (1-1) was led by Allison Curtin's 21 points. Alyssa Shriver added 13.
Southern California 59, No. 19 Colorado St. 58
DENVER -- Rachel Woodward hit a 3-pointer with eight seconds remaining and had 20 points and eight rebounds as Southern California upset Colorado State.
USC (2-0) trailed by as many as 15 points in the first half to Colorado State (1-1), but Woodward rallied the team by scoring 14 after halftime.
Jessica Cheeks added 11 points for USC.
