MICHELLE DOWNSJOHN MOTSKO
XPARROT CAY, Turks and Caicos -- Michelle Lee Downs and John Michael Motsko, both of Providenciales, exchanged marriage vows before the Rev. Samuel Williams during a sunset ceremony on the beach at Parrot Cay Resort, where a reception also took place.
The bride is a daughter of Larry F. Downs of Georgia and the late Patsy Jane Harvey, and lived with her aunt and uncle, Jackie and Don Celuska of Panama City, Fla.
The groom, formerly of Struthers, is a son of Nancy and Sam Motsko, 7549 Locust Ave., Poland.
The bride wore a white Egyptian-cotton ensemble and a halo of white jasmine. She was escorted by her uncle.
Honor attendant was Sarah Ann Swoboda of Poland, niece of the groom. She wore a white dress.
Performing the duties of best man was Michael Swoboda of Poland, the groom's nephew.
The newlyweds took a honeymoon trip to Iceland, and they live on Turks and Caicos.
Mrs. Motsko graduated from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla., with a bachelor's degree in English. She is the personal assistant to the managing director of Parrot Cay Resort.
A self-employed cabinet-maker, Mr. Motsko also works at the resort.
