YOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Weber of Youngstown were the guests of honor at a surprise party at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church held May 3 in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were the couple's children, Diane and Nelson Laboy and John Weber, all of Youngstown, and Michael T. Frasco of Hubbard, and also Paul Shreve of Youngstown.
Their daughter, Debra Frasco, is deceased.
Mr. Weber and the former Mary Louise Giampetro were married May 3, 1952, at the church. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the Youngstown Water Department.
Mrs. Weber is employed as a greeter at Wal-Mart in Boardman.
Five grandchildren complete their family.
