Bad breath can indicatenose, sinus, tooth woes
Q. I have always had bad breath. What can cause this problem?
A. There are many conditions that can cause bad breath, besides the obvious one of forgetting to brush your teeth. The first is a sinus infection that causes infected drainage down the back of the throat. Second, a tooth abscess can cause you to have foul-smelling breath. Next, tonsillitis or a severely infected throat can make your breath smell bad. Finally, a foreign body in the nose, such as a piece of paper, toy, bead, raisin, etc. will cause an extremely foul smell that is hard to ignore.
