Drug abuse: City police arrested a 43-year-old Youngstown man after a traffic stop on Elizabeth Place for possession of suspected marijuana in four small bags and a bag of rolling papers.
April 28
Theft: Various grocery items were reported stolen from Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St., by an unidentified man who left the store with a cart of groceries without paying for them and fled in a black car driven by a female.
Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested an 18-year-old Salem man after a traffic stop in the 500 block of West Main Street for possession of drug paraphernalia, including a pack of rolling papers and the remains of a suspected marijuana cigarette.

April 22
Theft: Two checks were reported stolen from a checkbook in the residential 70 block of South Roanoke Avenue.
Criminal damage: A male suspect was arrested in an incident at Infocision, Interstate Blvd.
Recovery: Testosterone and syringes were recovered in the 3000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: A male juvenile was arrested in a theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Assault: A female victim was assaulted by a man in the roadway in front of a residence in the 20 block of Lexington Place.
Felonious assault: A 43-year-old male victim was assaulted by an unidentified man at Decorative Aluminum, 3681 LeHarps Road.
Criminal damage: A bullet hole to the garage was reported at a residence in the 2000 block of Amberly Avenue.
Counterfeit: A counterfeit $50 bill was passed at The Babylon, 114 Javit Court.
Drug offense: A summons was issued for the arrest of a man for possession of a crack pipe on North Edgehill Avenue.
Theft: Golf clubs were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 60 block of Maple Drive.

Breaking and entering: A storage unit was broken into at Blake's Storage, 2024 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: Flowers were taken from the front door at a residence in the 50 block of Westminster Avenue.
Theft: Three male juveniles were caught stealing beer at the Pit Stop, 1744 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A 1994 Pontiac Sunbird was broken into and compact discs stolen. The care was parked in a driveway in the 2000 block of Frostwood Drive.
Theft: Golf clubs were stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road.
Theft: Stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle in the residential 2000 block of Frostwood Drive.
Counterfeit: A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at Coates Car Wash, 5243 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A VCR and microwave were stolen by a friend of the victim's at an apartment in the residential 800 block of North Meridian Road.
Breaking and entering: A storage shed was broken into at Blake's Storage.
Theft: DVDs were taken by a man at Hollywood Video, 5225 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was hit by eggs in the residential 500 block of Wilcox Road.

Breaking and entering: An unattached garage was broken into in the 100 block of North Beverly Avenue.
Theft: A tailgate was stolen from an auto in the 100 block of South Meridian Road.
Criminal damage: A vehicle and fence were damaged in the 4500 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Misuse of a credit card: A credit card of a resident in an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road was used when $500 was charged to the victim's account in Liberty by a female suspect.
Criminal damage: A total of 240 feet of lawn was damaged at a residence in the 5000 block of Nashua Drive.
Theft: A laser depth master was stolen from Mahnen Machinery, 545 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A kicker impulse amplifier was stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway in the 1000 block of Collins Avenue.

Theft: A CD player and purse were stolen from a vehicle in the residential 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
