LISBON Woman dies after two-car accident



LISBON -- A Church Hill Road woman died Saturday after a car accident on state Route 518.
Ann Handy, 44, was pronounced dead at about 5:30 p.m. at the University of Pittsburgh hospital. She was taken by helicopter to Pittsburgh from East Liverpool City Hospital after the accident.
Handy was riding in a car driven by her husband, Donald Handy, also of Church Hill Road, when the accident occurred at about 11:40 a.m. on state Route 518 near the Morgan's Monument rest stop.
Donald Handy, 43, was turning left from the westbound lanes of state Route 518 when his car was struck on the passenger side by a car driven by Diane Scyoc, 29, of Hall Road, Salineville.
Donald Handy was treated at East Liverpool City Hospital after the accident. Scyoc was not injured.
Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol's Lisbon post are investigating.
