Chestnut Run
Mercer County Regional Council of Governments has set up a program to provide free admission and transportation to and from the Chestnut Run Swim Beach at Shenango River Lake for low- and moderate-income county residents. Local governments have earmarked some of their federal Community Development Block Grant funds to help pay for it. Funding sources are:
Mercer County: $29,000Hermitage: $5,000Sharpsville: $2,500Farrell: $1,000Mercer Co. Housing Authority: $5,000
