St. Francis Hospital in New Castle is offering free and low-cost health screenings next month. Community residents may receive these health screenings: blood pressure at no charge; blood sugar, $3; total cholesterol/HDL, $12; total lipid panel (total cholesterol/HDL/LDL/triglycerides) $15. Tuesday: 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Sts. Philip & amp; James Worship Site, Charles and Hanna streets; 1:30 to 3 p.m., Skyview Tower Apartments, 219 N. Beaver St.; 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3:30 p.m., Wal-Mart, 121 Winter Road (blood pressure only).
Wednesday: 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., New Castle Community Y, 20 W. Washington St.
Thursday: 9 a.m. to noon and 1-3 p.m., St. Joseph the Worker Church, 1111 S. Cascade St.
