WARREN -- A British royal family correspondent is the final guest lecturer for the Trumbull Town Hall Celebrity Series.
Richard Arbiter speaks at 10:30 a.m., April 10 in W.D. Packard Music Hall.
Arbiter was court correspondent to Buckingham Palace from 1980 to 1988 and broadcast the 1981 wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales, to Lady Diana Spencer and in 1986, the wedding of Andrew, Prince of York, to Sarah Ferguson. He managed all ceremonial occasions and funeral arrangements, as well as major events at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.
Tickets are $25 and can be ordered by calling the Warren YWCA at (330) 373-1010. A luncheon and fashion show follows at Avalon Inn in Howland, open only to those who attend the lecture.
Trees, plants for sale
SALEM -- Columbiana County Soil and Water Conservation District is selling trees and plants. Five different tree packets, as well as English ivy leaders, wildflower seeds and other items are available. Prices depend on what's ordered. The ordering deadline is April 5.
