KATIN SHIELDSBRANDON MILLER
NEGRIL, Jamaica -- The Caves Resort was the setting at sunset Feb. 16 for the wedding of Katin Shields and Brandon Miller, both of Boston.
The couple live in Boston after spending their honeymoon sailing near the Grenadines in the British West Indies. They will be honored during a reception to be held by invitation in late May at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown.
The bride is a daughter of Nancy Olander and Tom Booher of Poland and Richard and Alicia Shields of Wickenburg, Ariz. She graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass., with a master's degree in mechanical engineering and is a manufacturing engineer in Boston.
Parents of the groom are Dorothy Miller of Canfield and Robert Miller of Youngstown. He is a graphic designer in Boston after earning a bachelor's degree in graphic design from Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, R.I.
The bride's attendants were Peggyann Anderson and Lan Xue of New York City, and Sabina Ma of Weathersfield, Conn.
Attendants for the groom were his brother, Darrin Miller of Canfield, Jeffrey Ho of Cincinnati and Andrew Seles of Los Angeles.
