CANFIELD -- Innis Maggiore Group, an advertising and public relations firm, has employed two new associates for its Canfield office. Michael J. Gallagher of Girard is a new account supervisor, and Stephanie J. Kutlick of Boardman is an account coordinator.
Gallagher comes to Innis Maggiore from Sherman & amp; Associates in Warren, where he was an account executive. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Youngstown State University. Kutlick, who was previously employed in the marketing department at Simon Property Group, has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University.
LABOR
POLAND -- Mahoning Valley native Debbie Timko, now of Milwaukee, Wis., is the first woman to be elected president of the Service Employees International Union Local 150 in Wisconsin. A 1983 graduate of Poland Seminary High School, she organized 40 labor campaigns across the Midwest before settling in Milwaukee three years ago to work as chief of staff for SEIU Local 150. During her 10 years on the road, she worked with SEIU Local 627 in Youngstown and helped organize unions at several area nursing homes and health facilities in the Mahoning Valley.
Timko has a master's degree in industrial and labor relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a bachelor's degree in labor relations and an associate's degree in labor studies, both from Youngstown State University, and a certificate in nuclear medicine technology from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nuclear Medicine. She was recently featured in the Milwaukee Business Journal's feature "40 Under Forty," which profiled 40 professionals in that city who are making a difference in their industry, organization or community.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Donald Argiro of Poland has been named vice president of human resources for Berberton Citizens Hospital. Argiro had held the same position for Primary Health Systems at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland and at Humility of Mary Health Partners in Youngstown. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from Youngstown State University.
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Dr. Amarish S. Potnis, M.D., has joined the medical staff of UPMC Horizon. He is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist affiliated with Dr. Stephen G. Paxson, D.O., of Telemark Physical Medicine, PC. Dr. Potnis is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He completed his residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia and earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He has private practice offices in Greenville and Farrell.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Five Youngstown-area physicians have been appointed to the faculty of the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine.
Dr. Todd Bolotin, M.D., of St. Elizabeth Health Center, was named assistant professor of clinical emergency medicine. Dr. Bolotin, a 1989 NEOUCOM graduate, lives in Girard and served an emergency medicine internship and residency at the University of Cincinnati and a hyperbaric medicine fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Mary Costello, M.D., who works at the Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron, where she also served a pediatrics internship, was appointed instructor in emergency medicine. Costello, of Warren, is a 1995 NEOUCOM graduate.
Dr. Kathryn L. Faccini, M.D., was named assistant professor of clinical internal medicine. A Youngstown resident, she earned her medical degree from the Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She completed an internal medicine internship at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., and an internal medicine residency and hematology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Antoinette C. Goff, D.O., of Forum Health Northside Medical Center, was named assistant professor of clinical family medicine. Dr. Goff, of Poland, earned her medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, and she served a rotating internship at the Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital and a family practice at Forum Health.
Dr. Nadeem N. Malik, M.D., of Salem Community Hospital was named clinical assistant professor of pathology. A Poland resident, Malik earned a medical degree from Sind Medical College in Pakistan and served an internship and residency at the Western Reserve Care System and a surgical pathology fellowship at the University of Iowa.
EDUCATION
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Mahoning and Columbiana Training Association has hired four new staff members. Joseph W. Rawson of Salem has been named Youth Services Coordinator at the Lisbon office. Rawson came to the association from a position in the juvenile justice system and he has a bachelor's degree from Kent State University.
Carly B. Lafferre of Chester, W.Va., is a new career consultant in the Lisbon location. Lafferre has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Fairmont State College and has previous work experience in career counseling and job placement.
Douglas B. Morris, formerly of Cincinnati, has been named a career consultant in the Youngstown office. He attended the University of Cincinnati and had been a workshop employment facilitator with Cincinnati Works Inc.
Samantha Swinson has made the transition from participant to a full-time permanent position as a clerk-instructor's aide in the Youngstown office.

BOARDMAN -- The law firm of Harshman, Bernard & amp; Ramage has hired Atty. Kimberly Kmetz as a staff attorney. Kmetz has a bachelor's degree in English literature from Youngstown State University and earned her law degree from the University of Akron School of Law, where she was a member of the Championship Trial Advocacy Team. She was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1994 and has specialized in injured worker cases.

YOUNGSTOWN -- Patrick Pilolli and Katie Sobash have joined the 27 WKBN and Fox 17/62 sales team as account managers. Pilolli is a Youngstown native and a graduate of Chaney High School, and he has worked in sales at Rainbow Rentals and at State Chevrolet. He lives in Columbiana. Sobash is a Hermitage native and has a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Pittsburgh. She had been a field consultant for Delta Delta Delta.

AUSTINTOWN -- InfoCision Management Corporation has promoted Ron Henderson of Austintown to personnel coordinator in its operations division. Henderson has a bachelor's degree in human resources from Youngstown State University and joined InfoCision as a program supervisor at its Austintown call center in July.career paths
