CORTLAND -- The 34west Theater Company's production of "John, His Story," will be performed at 10 a.m. Sunday at Walnut Creek Community Church, which meets at Lakeview High School. The dramatic comedy, based on the Gospel of John, describes the seven signs Jesus performed, as seen by his followers.
Passover talk
HOWLAND -- Dr. Bernard Shultz, president of Beth Israel Temple in Warren, will speak on the history, symbolism and meaning of Passover at 7 p.m. Sunday in Howland Community Church, 198 Niles Cortland Road SE. He also will explain how Passover is commonly celebrated in a contemporary Jewish home. There is no cost.
