NILES -- Northeastern Ohio Region 4 of the National Association of Social Workers will hold its annual banquet April 5 at Vernon's Banquet Center, 720 Youngstown-Warren Road.
The cost is $20 for members and $15 for students. Reservations are due by Tuesday with Cathy Zapka, 375 Brunstetter Road, Warren, Ohio 44481.
The association will honor state Sen. Timothy Ryan as Public Official of the Year; Edna Gillam, Volunteer of the Year; Sarah Eisler, journalistic excellence; Timothy Schaffner, professional services; Pamela Ramsey, Student of the Year (bachelor's in social work); Kristeen Martuccio, Student of the Year (master's in social work); Vincenzo Brancaccio, outstanding service; Richard Darkangelo, lifetime achievement; and Kathy Frantz, Social Worker of the Year.
