ASSOCIATIONS

XHubbard Fortnightly IV will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday. The program will be by Thad Smith of Adamas Jewelry and Gifts. JoAnne Roose will be hostess, and co-hostess will be Peg Thomas.
XNew Middletown Homemakers will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the C & amp;C clubhouse. The program will include a talk on the Ohio bicentennial. Members are to take a large-eyed needle; craft kits will be supplied. Hostesses will be Ruth and Mary Jane Baker.
XThe Newcomers Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Poland Library. Reservations are required by Sunday and can be called to (330) 533-4104 or (330) 533-9368.
XParents of Performing Arts will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.
COMMITTEES
XWomen's Committee for Children's Concerts will meet at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Youngstown Club. Members will be finalizing arrangements for children's concerts to be held April 18 and 19 at Edward W. Powers Auditorium. Reports from all concert committees will be given. Anyone desiring to serve as an usher for the concerts should call the symphony office. Hostesses will be Betty Bannon and Fran DeSimone.
FRATERNAL GROUPS
XA covered dish dinner for members of the Girard REAC will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. The dinner had been set for March 21 but was canceled because of the death of a member.

XDublin Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Fun night will be observed.
POLITICAL CLUBS
XGirard Men's Democrat Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Parkwood Youth Center, Trumbull Avenue.
