Summary of police activity:
CANFIELD
March 11
Drug charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse, marijuana charges were filed against a 29-year-old Sparta man after a traffic stop on West Main Street.
Fraud: A Callahan Road resident reported two unauthorized charges were made on a new credit card totaling $43 for apparent purchase of time on a pornographic Web site.
March 12
Warrant: Police arrested a 19-year-old Fairview Avenue man at his residence on a warrant for receiving stolen property.
March 14
Theft: $45 was reported stolen from a student's wallet after he left it in his duffel bag in the lobby at Canfield High School to attend cross country practice.
Stolen: A cell phone was reported stolen at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 North Palmyra Road.
March 15
Tires: Two tires on a Salem man's tires were slashed in the parking lot at Canfield High School after he went into the weight room.
March 16
Drugs: A 36-year-old Canfield woman was charged with a traffic violation and drug abuse for possession of marijuana after she told police she had a small bag of marijuana in her purse and was driving under a 12-point suspension.
March 17
Drugs: A 19-year-old Poland man was arrested on traffic charges after a pursuit which ended on U.S. Route 422 just past Raccoon Road. He was charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse for possession of marijuana. His 17-year-old male passenger from Poland was charged with being an unruly child and curfew violation.
AUSTINTOWN
March 10
Drug offense: A summons was issued on a drug offense for a man in the residential 200 block of North Roanoke Avenue.
Auto theft: A 2000 Chevrolet Blazer was reported stolen from the residential 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
Criminal damage: A windshield was hit with a brick at the intersection of DePauw Avenue and Notre Dame Drive.
Theft: Meat and beer were reported stolen from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
March 11
Auto theft: A 1989 Chevrolet Cavalier was reported stolen from the residential 4000 block of Nantucket Drive.
Fraud: Credit-card accounts were opened in a victim's name in the residential 2000 block of Oak Trace Drive.
Breaking and entering: North Coast Energy, 3896 Oakwood Ave., was broken into and someone attempted to steal a vehicle.
Burglary: Cash was reported stolen but there were no signs of forced entry at an apartment in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Criminal damage: Paint was sprayed on a house in the 4000 block of Nottingham Drive.
Breaking and entering: The construction site of the library was entered and tools were stolen in the 600 block of South Raccoon Road.
Burglary: Video games were taken and the rear door pried open at a residence in the 1000 block of Woodledge Drive.
March 12
Theft: A cell phone was reported stolen from a vehicle in the residential 200 block of North Yorkshire Blvd.
Criminal damage: A vehicle window was broken in the residential 500 block of Notre Dame Drive.
March 13
Theft: Money was reported stolen from a vehicle at Giant Eagle.
Criminal mischief: Water was left running at a room at the Econo Lodge, 5431 1/2 Seventy-Six Drive. The room was flooded.
Theft: DVD movies were stolen by someone at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A cell phone was reported stolen from McQuaids, 702 N. Meridian Road.
March 14
Criminal damage: A mailbox was damaged in the residential 4000 block of South Warwick Drive.
Weapons offense: An 18-year-old man was issued a summons for carrying a concealed weapon at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.
Theft: A black leather purse was reported stolen from a vehicle at Bank One, 4243 Mahoning Ave.
March 15
Criminal damage: A vehicle and house were spray-painted in the residential 4000 block of Nottingham Avenue.
Criminal damage: A mailbox was damaged in the residential 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Aggravated burglary: Someone attempted to enter an apartment through a sliding glass door in the residential 1800 block of South Raccoon Road.
Criminal damage: A window at a residence was damaged in the residential 200 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Theft: A man is accused of theft at Sheetz, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: A man was arrested on a drug offense on New Road.
Theft: A victim was paid $375 for plumbing repairs but work was never started.
Theft: Four speakers were stolen from Austintown Pawn Shop, 3700 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damage: Fifty feet of lawn was damaged in the residential 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.
POLAND
March 9
DUS: A 31 year-old Poland male was arrested and charged with driving under suspension on Western Reserve Road.
Theft: Two checks were stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Katahdin Drive.
DUS: A 32 year-old Poland female was arrested on Clingan Road and charged with driving under suspension.
March 13
DUS: A 56 year-old Poland male was arrested on Indian Trail and charged with driving under suspension.
Theft: A purse was stolen at Marathon Gas, 3131 Center Road.
