ANTIQUE SALES
XHowland Community Church, 198 Niles-Cortland Road S.E., Warren, will hold an antiques show and sale from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be a silent auction, and food will be available. The cost is $3.
AUCTIONS
XA silent auction and wine tasting will be held as a benefit for Beatitude House from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. April 11 at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park. BANQUETS
XOrganization of Protestant Men will hold its 51st annual spring banquet at 6:30 p.m. April 2 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road. Speaker will be the Rev. Dr. James Melick, corporate director of pastoral care services at Forum Health. BAZAARS
XBristolville United Methodist Church, state Route 45 at 88, will hold a bazaar beginning at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. A complete roast beef dinner and salad bar will be available from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Carryouts will be available. The cost is $6 for adults, $2.50 for children 6-12 and 75 cents for those under 6.
XLloyd Elementary School, Norquest Boulevard, Austintown, will hold a bazaar and Chinese auction from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
BINGO/CARD PARTIES
XMothers of the Crucifix Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 343 Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, will sponsor a bingo and card party at 3 p.m. Sunday at the social hall. Tickets are $4 and may be obtained at the door. Refreshments will be served.
DRAWINGS
XCanfield Rotary Club is sponsoring a car raffle of a 2002 Ford Thunderbird to raise funds for Hospice of the Valley. Tickets are $10 each, and the drawing will take place at noon July 4 on the Village Green in Canfield. FASHION SHOWS
XAustintown Fitch High School Softball and Baseball Teams will hold a luncheon and fashion show Saturday in the high school cafeteria, Idaho Road. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. with lunch to be served at noon followed by the show at 1 p.m. The players will serve as models. Tickets must be purchased in advance by contacting any of the players or coaches, or by calling the school at (330) 797-3900.
FESTIVALS
XMary Mother of Hope Parish, North and Beaver streets, New Castle, Pa., will hold an Easterfest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the parish center. A variety of baked goods, candy, decorated eggs and a country store will be available along with meals.
NIGHTS AT THE RACES
XA night at the races will be held Saturday at St. Mary's Social Hall, 120 Maple Drive, Newton Falls. Doors open at 6 p.m. and post time is 7. The cost is $5, and tickets are available at the school, (330) 872-7676, or at the K. of C. Council at (330) 872-1087. Spaghetti and chicken dinners will be available at 7 p.m.
SALES

XThe Greater Youngstown Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association will benefit from proceeds from the 20th annual charity garage sale planned from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 12 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 13 at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road. Furniture, household items, toys, sporting goods, books and collectibles will be among the things for sale. Donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 8-10 at the church.
