Gunmen terrorize couple in home



YOUNGSTOWN -- A Bissell Avenue woman fled her home after waking Friday afternoon to find three gunmen standing over her, one pointing a .38 caliber revolver at her head.
The 40-year-old woman told police she discovered the gunmen around 12:30 p.m. After she awoke, one of the gunmen stated that he should shoot her right then while another took an envelope containing $976 and a Sony PlayStation.
When the woman's boyfriend tried to intervene, he was punched in the neck. When she began arguing with the intruders, one fired his gun into the floor. The woman and her boyfriend then fled.
Police reported the other two gunmen were armed with a 9mm handgun and a pistol. The woman told police that the gunmen had been frequent visitors to her home but had never lived there.
