Writing workshop
Local author Susan Dexter will conduct the February session of "Where Writers Become Authors," the monthly fiction writer's workshop on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Jerry Stigliano's Book Source on State Street in Hermitage.
Topics to be discussed include "Pick Up the Pace," as well as writing exercises and general discussion of writing, agents and publilshing. Participants may also have up to 10 typewritten pages of their writing evaluated. Registration fee is $10. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling (724) 981-0777.
Book signing
Local published author Evelyn Minshull will hold a book signing at Jerry Stigliano's Book Source in Hermitage March 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. She will feature her new children's book "Eaglet's World."
