AUSTINTOWN -- Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women's Association selected Susan Billock as the chapter's 2002 Woman of the Year during a dinner meeting held Feb. 12 at the Gatsby Restaurant.
Being selected for the honor is becoming a family tradition for Billock. Three of her aunts, Irene B. Moyes, Cecilia B. Ernst and Janet Billock, and a cousin, Joyce Billock, have also been named Woman of the Year by their respective ABWA chapters.
Billock has been a member of the Mill Creek Chapter since 1996 and has served two-year terms as president and as treasurer. She is the fund-raising chairman and editor of the newsletter, and has worked on anniversary, Christmas and business-associate events, on YSU football programs, membership enrollments, Chinese auctions and on the district spring conference luncheon committee.
She has attended a number of spring conferences and national conventions, and will attend the national convention in Nashville this year.
Employed as the office manager for Rondinelli Co. in Boardman, Billock previously was an internal auditor for Stambaugh Thompson for 16 years. She lives with her father, Charles Billock, on Western Reserve Road.
