DRUG BUST Lawrence County

District Attorney Matthew Mangino said arrest warrants were issued for 17 people including a juvenile on charges of trafficking in OxyContin and crack cocaine. Eleven were arrested and arraigned Thursday. The warrants are part of an ongoing investigation involving the New Castle Narcotics Bureau, Lawrence County district attorney's drug task force and the Pennsylvania office of attorney general, Mangino said. Warrants were issued for:
Lawana Fitzpatrick, 42, of Booker Drive, New Castle; two counts of possession and delivery of marijuana and two counts of unauthorized use of a communication facility.
Anthony George Schmidt, 45, of East Park Drive, Brookfield, Ohio; one count of possession and delivery of crack cocaine and one count of unauthorized use of a communication facility.
Samuel Lee Lowry Jr., 42, of Pin Oak Drive, New Castle; three counts of conspiracy to delivery crack cocaine and three counts of unauthorized use of a communication facility.
Edward Wayne Callahan, 35, of Chestnut Street, New Castle; one count of delivery and possession of crack cocaine.
Travis Lamar Wade, 19, of Morton Street, New Castle; one count of delivery and possession of crack cocaine; one count of unauthorized use of a communication facility.
Prython Reed, also known as Prython Page, 39, lodged in the Lawrence County Jail; one count of conspiracy to deliver crack cocaine; one count of possession of crack cocaine with the intent to delivery and one count of possession of crack cocaine.
Paul Wade, 49, of Morton Street, New Castle; one count of possession and delivery of prescription drugs and one count of unauthorized use of a communication facility.
Joseph Ollie, 54, of Pennsylvania Avenue, New Castle; one count of possession and delivery of OxyContin and one count of unauthorized use of a communication facility.
Lashawn Moss, 27, of Pin Oak Drive, New Castle; two counts of conspiracy to deliver, possession and delivery of crack cocaine.
Anthony Burroughs, 39, of Raymond Street, New Castle; two counts of possession and delivery of crack cocaine; three counts of unauthorized use of a communication facility.
An unnamed 18-year-old, who was a juvenile at the time of the police investigation, faces one count of possession and delivery of crack cocaine and one count of unauthorized use of a communication facility.
Carlos Morales, 39, of Edinburg Road, Mount Jackson; one count of possession and delivery of crack cocaine; one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
Terri Morales, 40, of Edinburg Road, Mount Jackson; one count of possession and delivery of crack cocaine; one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
Paris Crowley, 49, of Cleveland Street, New Castle; one count of delivery of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia; one count of criminal use of a communication facility.
Alicia DeRosa, 23, of Neshannock Village, New Castle; possession of OxyContin, possession of instruments of crime; one count of criminal conspiracy.
David P. Vogan, 39, of Croton Avenue, New Castle; one count of delivery of crack cocaine, criminal conspiracy and criminal use of a communication device.
Jamal Hill, 25, of East Washington Street, New Castle; two counts of possession and delivery of crack cocaine and OxyContin; one count of criminal use of a communication facility and criminal attempt to acquire possession of a controlled substance by misrepresentation.
Fitzpatrick, Schmidt, Lowry, Callahan, Travis Wade, Reed, Paul Wade, Ollie, Moss, Burroughs and the juvenile were arraigned before District Justice Melissa Amodie and are being held pending bond. Preliminary hearings are scheduled for next Friday.
