THURSDAY
Austintown Alumni Association will hold an Amish dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Austintown Fitch High School Cafeteria, Idaho Road, Austintown. Meals are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Carryouts will be available.
FRIDAY
XAmerican Legion Post 560, 103 Twelfth St., Campbell, will sponsor a fish and shrimp fry from noon to 6 p.m. at the post home. Featured on the menu will be fresh ocean perch or shrimp, macaroni and cheese or french fries, coleslaw, bread and coffee. Prices are $6 for adults and $4 for children. Dining-room or takeout service will be available.
Aut Mori Grotto, 7209 Calla Road, Canfield, will hold a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Takeouts will be available. For information call (330) 533-4340.
Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will be selling potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at (330) 755-0064. No walk-ins will be accepted. Orders may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday only. Patrons are asked to provide containers.
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church hall, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod, Spanish rice or haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, bread, butter, and coffee or tea. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at (330) 792-1005.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will be selling pirogi, hot pirogi lunches, and plain, cinnamon and powdered sugar doughnuts. Orders will be taken from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday at (330) 746-9528. Orders should be placed early and are to be picked up by 2 p.m. Friday. Cost is $3.50 for a dozen pirogi.
Hubbard VFW 3767 Auxiliary, 710 W. Liberty St., will hold a fish fry from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Cost is $6 for large dinners, baked or fried, and $4.25 for small dinners. Lowellville Rod and Gun Club, 6225 Quarry Road, Lowellville will hold a carry-out fish fry from 3 to 6 p.m.
National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will be serving a fish buffet and selling pirogi. The buffet will be available from 3:30 to 7 p.m. The cost will be $8 for adults and $5 for children. Potato and cheese pirogi may be ordered ahead as a takeout. The cost is $4 a dozen.
Roosevelt Elementary School Relay for Life Team will sponsor a benefit dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at St. Patrick Church Hall, 367 N. Main St., Hubbard. Dinners will consist of a choice of haluski or pirogi, (or both, if desired) applesauce, bread and dessert The cost is $6. Takeouts will be available.
Potato pirogi will be sold at St. Anne Ukrainian Byzantine Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown. To order call (330) 799-0084 from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 a.m. Friday. Lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $3.75 per dozen, and pickup will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. St. Brendan Church will sponsor a fish dinner from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Maxwell Hall, 144 N. Schenley Ave., Youngstown. The menu will consist of beer-batter, fried or baked fish, macaroni and cheese, baked potato or french fries, coleslaw, bread and butter, cake and coffee. St. Demetrios Church, 3223 Atlantic St., Warren, will serve fish dinners from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Dine-in or takeout will be available, and dinners will feature baked or fried fish, choice of two side dishes, coleslaw, bread and butter, dessert and beverage. Side dishes will include green beans, rice, macaroni and cheese and french fries.
St. James Church, state Route 422, New Bedford, Pa., will serve fried or baked fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals will include macaroni and cheese, french fries, coleslaw, dessert and beverage. The cost is $6.50 for adults and $3 for children. Takeouts will be available.
Potato, prune and kraut pirogi will be sold at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell. Orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at (330) 755-1316 and can be picked up beginning at noon. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers.
St. Luke Church, 5235 South Ave., Boardman, will be baking Italian-style red and white pizza. Phone orders will be accepted at (330) 788-0025 between 8 and noon only. Pickup will be until 1 p.m.
St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church will hold a family fish fry from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at Shady Run Activity Center, 3800 Shady Run Road, Youngstown. Meals will feature 10-ounce fried or baked haddock with side dishes and dessert. The price is $7.50 for adults and $5.50 for children 12 and under. Takeout orders also will be available.
St. Paul the Apostle Church, Route 170, Main Street, New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi. Orders can be called to (330) 542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. to noon Friday. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Frozen pirogi will be available. Patrons are reminded to place Easter orders as soon as possible; pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 27.
XSt. Rose Church of Girard Ladies of Mount Carmel Society will sponsor a sale of pasta and beans, fried dough and several varieties of pizza at the church, 48 E. Main St., Girard. St. Vincent DePaul Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will hold a fish dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. The menu will feature baked or fried fish, homemade haluski or pirogi, parsley potatoes, coleslaw, applesauce, bread and butter, beverage and homemade dessert. Takeouts also will be available. Cost is $6.50 for adults, $6 for senior citizens, $3.50 for children 6-12 and free to those 5 and under.
XWestminster Presbyterian Church, 119 Stadium Drive, Boardman, will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church hall. Meals are $5 for adults, $3 for children 3-12 and free to those 2 and under (dine-in only). Meals will include meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and beverages. Carryouts also will be available. Proceeds will benefit the Serendipity Preschool.
SATURDAY
Fowler United Methodist Church, 3426 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, will hold a chicken-pie dinner from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Meals also will include potato, green beans, applesauce, coleslaw, cottage cheese, bread, dessert and beverage. Cost is $6 for adults, $3.50 for children 6-12 and free for preschoolers. Takeouts will be available.
Grace Lutheran Church Men's Group will sponsor its 34th annual kraut dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the church 111 Hall Ave., Hubbard. Meals are $6 for adults, $3 for children under 12 and free to those under 5. Proceeds will go toward camp scholarships and other outreach programs.
SUNDAY
Andover First United Methodist Women will serve Swiss steak dinners from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the church fellowship hall, 181 S. Main St., Andover. Meals will include mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, coleslaw, applesauce, pie and beverage. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for those 6-10 and free for those under 6.
A spaghetti dinner is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Brookfield Fire Hall by Brookfield High School girls' softball. The cost is $5 and $3 for children under 10. Takeouts will be available.
A chicken paprikash dinner will be served by the Circle of Serbian Sisters of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, Laird Avenue, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Serbian Memorial Hall. The menu will also include homemade dumplings, salad, bread and butter, and beverage. Cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children. Containers will be provided for takeout orders. No reservations are required.
Goshen Grange, Route 165, Goshen Township, will sponsor a country breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Prices are $4 for adults and $2.50 for children.
Holy Name Society of St. Elizabeth Church, 124 Keystone St., Campbell, will sponsor a pasta dinner from noon to 4 p.m. at the church hall. Menu items include salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Jackson Township Fire Department Auxiliary will sponsor a pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station, 229 N. Salem Road. The cost is $4 for adults, $2 for children 5-12 and free for those 4 and under.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church on Via Mount Carmel, Youngstown, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church hall. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Carryouts will be available; containers are 75 cents or you can provide your own.
Parkman Chamber of Commerce will serve pancake and sausage breakfasts from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Parkman Community House, Route 422. Tickets are $6 for adults and $2.50 for children 6-12. Those 5 and younger may dine for free.
St. George Lodge 66 Sports Committee will hold a breakfast from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Croatian Home, 3200 Vesta Road, Youngstown. Cost is $4 for adults and $2.50 fro children 12 and under. The menu will feature pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice and coffee.
TUESDAY

Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, 291 Scoville Drive, Vienna, is taking orders for potato and cheese pirogi for $3.75 per dozen. Orders should be placed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Wednesday to (330) 856-2597 and may be picked up from noon to 4 p.m. March 15. No walk-ins orders will be accepted. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers or there will be an extra 50-cent charge for one. Please use the hall side entrance.
