STEPHANIE CARDMICHAEL PAXTON
CANFIELD -- Old North Church of Canfield provided the setting June 1 for the 2 p.m. wedding of Stephanie Dawn Card, Austintown, and Michael Alan Paxton, Boardman.
Dr. Brent Allen officiated for the daughter of Harley and Nancy Card of the Redgate Lane address and the son of Larry and Kathy Maravola, 4038 Risher Road, Boardman, and Jon Paxton, Anchorage, Alaska.
A reception took place at Colonial Catering and the couple honeymooned on a Disney cruise in Florida. They live at the groom's address.
Pearls and crystal sequins adorned the bride's A-line organza over satin gown designed with a full train.
Alanna M. Card of Austintown was honor attendant for her sister. Bridesmaids were Amy Slanina of Youngstown and Kimberly Maravola of Boardman, the groom's sister. They wore navy-blue dresses. His cousin, Deanna Hunt of Youngstown, was flower girl.
Serving as best man was Shane Yesovich of Youngstown. Groomsman was Shaun Card of Columbia Station, the bride's cousin, and ushers were Robert Ankrom of Austintown and Thomas Ankrom of Canfield, her uncles. Ring bearer was Alexander Ankrom of Austintown, her cousin.
Mrs. Paxton is majoring in premed and biology at Youngstown State University. She is a receptionist at Pulmonary Rehabilitation Association in Boardman.
Mr. Paxton is pursuing a degree in business administration at YSU and is a coordinator with Intellitech Corp. in Poland.
