American Legion post
SHARON, Pa.-- Sharon American Legion Post 299 will celebrate the grand reopening of its remodeled post at 1395 E. State St. Thursday through Sunday.
A flag-raising and ribbon-cutting ceremony will kick off the activities at noon Thursday. The post was founded in 1919 and donates thousands of dollars each year to local charities and military organizations.
Adult computer classes
NILES -- The McKinley Memorial Library will offer free computer classes for adults in July. Introduction to Word 2000 will be offered at 1 p.m. July 13 and at 10 a.m. July 23.
Introduction to the Internet will be offered July 9 and July 13, both at 10 a.m. Intermediate Internet will be offered at 6 p.m. July 18.
