YOUNGSTOWN -- Steve Jr. and Lois Nyers, 610 N. Hartford Ave., announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy Edith Nyers, and Todd Allen Potts, both of 85 Melrose Ave., Boardman.
Parents of the future groom are Alonzo Sr. and Betty Ann Potts, 6007 Glenridge Road, Boardman.
Miss Nyers is a secretary and physical therapist aide employed by Keystone Rehabilitation System.
Mr. Potts, who is attending Youngstown State University, is a plumber-pipefitter at United Association Local 396 in Boardman.
An open-church ceremony is planned for 2 p.m. Sept. 28 at Our Lady of Hungary Church. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at St. Mary Assumption Social Center.
