JOAN LISOVITCHKIRK SUSANY
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Rev. Steven Geitgey officiated at 5 p.m. May 18 at Mill Creek Park for the wedding of Joan K. Lisovitch and Kirk Susany.
The bride is a daughter of Richard and Margaret Lisovitch, 6965 Amy-Boyle Road, Brookfield.
Parents of the groom are Edward and Elaine Susany of North Lima.
A reception took place at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center.
The couple honeymooned in Puerto Rico and are living in Canfield.
The bride wore a white satin sheath-style gown. It was enhanced with pearl edging, and the skirt was designed with a cathedral train.
Her sisters, Jeanie Hicks and Cathy Carna, were matrons of honor. They wore emerald-sapphire gowns, as did the bridesmaids, Mary Lisovitch, the bride's sister-in-law, and Brenda Irwin.
Serving as groomsmen were Craig, Brett and Bart Susany, the groom's brothers; William Beiber; James DeBartolo; and Bruce Mellott. The bride's nephew, Joey Carna, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Susany is a student at Youngstown State University, where she is studying pharmaceutical sales.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colo. He is owner-operator of Susany Builders Inc. in Columbiana.
