NICOLE DAMIANOROBERT ZABEL
YOUNGSTOWN -- Nicole Lynn Damiano, daughter of Frank and Debbie Damiano, all of 56 Red Grouse Court, became the bride of Robert Alan Zabel, son of R. Lee and Terri Zabel, all of 7002 Southberry Hill, Canfield, during a ceremony May 4 at St. Christine Church. The Rev. David Rhodes officiated at the 2 p.m. service.
The newlyweds accepted congratulations during a reception held at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman, then left for a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Mexico.
They live at 481 Wildwood Drive, Boardman.
Beading highlighted the bride's strapless gown fashioned with a detachable train.
Honor attendant was Natalie Damiano, the bride's sister. Bridesmaids were Kelly Hardie, Katie Hardie, Genna Notareschi and Marissa Cullen, her cousins; Tara Evans, the groom's sister; Jeana Sabatine; and Christy Durbin. They wore oasis-blue-colored dresses. Flower girls were Christine and Lisa Cullen, her cousins, and Jordan Evans, his niece.
Andrew Zabel, the groom's brother, served as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Evans, his brother-in-law, and Jason Paris, Gregory Giannios, Michael Thomas, Phillip Lammers, Andrew Kudoff and Dennis Rulli. Ring bearers were Alan Burns and Bo Thomas Burns, his cousins, and Vincent Notareschi, her cousin.
A hairstylist with Panache Salon and Spa in Boardman, Mrs. Zabel graduated from Austintown Hair Academy.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree, Mr. Zabel is a sales representative with W.C. Zabel Co.
