Correction
DAYTON -- Liberty High junior Jessica White finished third in the 100- and 200-meter dashes during last weekend's Division II state track and field meet at Welcome Stadium.
She ran the 100 in 12.75 seconds and the 200 in 25.43. Her times were listed incorrectly in a story Sunday.

Aeros win 4-0
ALTOONA, Pa. -- Brian Tallet pitched seven shutout innings and Jhonny Peralta and Victor Martinez had three hits apiece as the Akron Aeros beat the Altoona Curve 4-0 on Sunday.
Akron scored all four runs in the third inning off Altoona starter Ben Shaffar (3-4) for a three-game sweep in the International League.
Billy Munoz drove in a pair of runs with a single, with Martinez and Jason Fitzgerald also singling home a run apiece.
Tallet (5-1) allowed six hits, struck out three and walked two for the win.
Shaffar, who entered the game with a 1.43 ERA over his past six starts, gave up four runs on four hits over 21/3 innings.
He left the game with an injury to the shoulder of his non-throwing arm.
Brad King went 3-for-3 for Altoona.
Brad Guy threw 32/3 scoreless innings, and Matt Montgomery pitched two shutout innings to extend his scoreless streak to 142/3 innings.

In the women's Liberty Classic, Petra Rossner of the Saturn racing team won her sixth consecutive title with a sprint past Laura Van Gilder of Trek Plus.

* WASHINGTON -- Chamique Holdsclaw had 23 points and a season-high 15 rebounds to help Washington defeat Miami 76-67.

Illbruck winssailing event
KIEL, Germany -- Illbruck Challenge became the first German sloop to capture the Volvo Ocean Race, the grueling around-the world sailing event held every three years.
Illbruck sailed into the German shipyard city of Kiel, ending a punishing nine-month, 32,700-mile race.
