SEBRING -- Mahoning County Council Auxiliary to the VFW held the election and installation of officers for 2002-2003 during a meeting that took place May 2 at VFW Post 6730.
Inducted into office were Dorothy McLaughlin, president; Sandra Graves, senior vice president; Donna Russo, secretary; Julie Carter, treasurer; Sandra Mehley, chaplain; Patricia Malinowsi, conductress; Barbara Kreidler, guard; and Betty Shives, three-year trustee.
Fay Doyle, District 8 president, served as installing officer. She was assisted by Wanda Thompson, District 8 senior vice president, as installing conductress and Russo as installing secretary.
Members are asked to take nonperishable foods to county meetings for distribution at the food pantry of the Veterans Administration Clinic on Belmont Avenue.
