HEALTH CARE
YOUNGSTOWN -- JoAnne K. McCliment is the new corporate director of marketing and community relations for Forum Health, where she will oversee public relations and media relations programs as well as marketing and corporate communications.
McCliment came to Forum from Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Services, where she was director of community relations. She is also a part-time faculty member of the marketing department of Youngstown State University's Williamson College of Business Administration and a free-lance journalist.
A Girard resident, McCliment has a bachelor's degree in professional writing and editing and a master's degree in English, both from YSU, as well as a graduate certificate in professional writing and editing.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Park Vista has appointed Vickie Alexander director of human resources. Alexander, who has more than 20 years' experience in human resources and operations management with major national retail and food service companies, attended the University of Cincinnati. She joined Park Vista earlier this year as a recruiter and was promoted to the new position in June. A Canton native, she lives in New Middletown.
SEBRING -- Philip Braisted has been appointed executive director of Copeland Oaks retirement community. He comes to the center from Breckenridge Village Retirement Community in Willoughby, where he had been executive director since 1999.
Braisted has a master's degree in business administration from Kent State University, a master's in education from Edinboro State University, and a bachelor's degree from Houghton College in Houghton, N.Y. He is a licensed nursing home administrator.
TRAINING
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Mahoning and Columbiana Training Association announces the hiring of Randolph L. Davis as a career consultant and the promotions of Terri G. Shivers to adult services coordinator and Jack K. Hile to One-Stop Service delivery specialist.
Davis has a master's degree in counseling from Youngstown State University and is a licensed social worker in the state of Ohio. Shivers graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in education and has extensive work experience with MCTA as a career consultant, assessing and managing case management services.
Hile's position is new at the Mahoning and Columbiana Training Association's Lisbon office. He attended Ohio State University and was a member of the Ohio National Guard.
LAW ENFORCEMENT
BOARDMAN -- Kevin Charles Conley, formerly of Boardman, has been sworn in and promoted to lieutenant with the Columbus Police Department. Conley is a 1972 graduate of Boardman High School and a graduate of Youngstown State University. He joined the Columbus police force 21 years ago and has been a member of its Honor Guard for 11 years. He lives in Dublin, Ohio.
TELEMARKETING
BOARDMAN -- Michael Sofronko has joined InfoCision Management Corporation as program supervisor at the company's Boardman call center. He comes to InfoCision from Renters Choice, where he was a sales and collections manager. The Canfield resident received his bachelor's degree from John Carroll University.
InfoCision also announced the promotion of Jeff Kamin to senior program supervisor in the company's Boardman volunteer recruitment call center. Kamin began his career with the company in 2000 as a program supervisor in the company's Austintown volunteer recruitment call center and has acted as call center supervisor in the company's Boardman center. A Boardman resident, he had a bachelor's degree in marketing management from Florida Southern College.
