XCornerstone Chapel, 1224 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, will have a yard sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 26 and 27. Hot dogs and cold drinks will be available.
XGirl Scout Mothers will hold a thrift sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, 250 Sexton St., Struthers.
XRelay for Life Team will hold a rummage sale at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Items will be $1 a bag from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday. Refreshments will be available.
XYoungstown Playhouse Youth Theater will direct funds from a rummage sale Friday and Saturday to the Taylor Veisz Memorial Scholarship Fund. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2252 Oran Drive, Youngstown. Taylor was a graduate of Ursuline Class of 2000 who was killed by a drunk driver in May 2001.
SHOWS
XYoungstown Chapter of the Embroiderers Guild of America is holding a showcase of needle arts from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays through Aug. 10 at Always Yours Frame Shop, Hilltop Plaza, Route 224, Canfield. Various types of needlework are on display including cross-stitch, pulled and counted thread embroidery, needlepoint and hardanger.
