Summary of police activity:
July 3
Warrant: Police arrested a 22-year-old Campbell man on charges of domestic violence and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Theft/criminal damaging: Someone broke a vehicle's front passenger window and damaged its steering column in the 2400 block of Fifth Avenue and stole a camera, a Palm Pilot and three audio books from it.
Theft: A man reported two cordless drills and a saw were taken from his pickup truck in the Plaza Donuts parking lot, 3437 Belmont Ave.
Theft: A tailgate was removed from a truck while it was parked at Delliquadri Lawn Maintenance & amp; Landscaping, 1270 Trumbull Ave.
Forgery: Police arrested a 27-year-old Poland man after he reportedly used a forged prescription to obtain a bottle of Vicodin tablets at the Phar-Mor pharmacy, 3551 Belmont Ave.
July 4
Robbery/assault: Police arrested a 40-year-old Cleveland man at the Tallyho-tel, 4249 Belmont Ave., after two witnesses said they saw him beating up another man. The victim suffered a head wound and reported a watch, two phone cards and $30 missing.
July 5
Criminal damaging: Three residents in the 800 and 900 blocks of Ravine Drive reported various damage to their property.
July 6
Burglary: Someone removed about $410, a tool set, an 18-inch chain saw and a weed eater from a residence and garage in the 1500 block of Edwards Street.
Attempted burglary: A woman called police after her 12-year-old daughter heard suspicious noises at their residence in the 2900 block of Northview Avenue. The woman discovered a screen torn and pushed in.
July 7
Forgery: Police arrested a 33-year-old Niles woman after she reportedly produced a forged prescription to obtain 60 OxyContin tablets at the Rite Aid Pharmacy, 2704 Belmont Ave.
Theft: A man in the 3100 block of Belmont Avenue reported someone used a razor blade to deliberately cut a strap on his trailer and remove a 24-by-32-inch tarpaulin.
Criminal damaging: Nothing reported missing after two men threw two bricks through a glass door at a Shell gas station, 4446 Logan Way.
