ROAD WORK Area projects

Projects the Ohio Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation are working on this week:
MAHONING COUNTY
Eastbound Interstate 76 on the Twin Bridges in Milton Township, closed until further notice. All traffic is crossed over and will travel on the westbound bridge, where there will be one lane in each direction. Completion: Fall 2003.
Interstate 80 from state Route 193 to state Route 46, reduced to one lane in each direction from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights and weekends. Two lanes in each direction will be maintained at all other times. Completion: Fall 2002.
County Road 151 (South Avenue) in Boardman, reduced to one lane in each direction between Western Reserve Road and Presidential Drive. In addition, traffic will be restricted to one lane for both directions for brief periods throughout the day. Completion: Summer 2003.
Intersection on state Route 165 from state Route 14 to state Route 46 will have traffic maintained with flaggers as the contractor is improving the intersection and beginning the berm work.
U.S. Route 224 bridge over Berlin Reservoir, closed until October. Posted detour: state Route 225 to Mahoning Avenue to state Route 534.
TRUMBULL COUNTY
State Route 5 just east of state Route 45, reduced to one lane in each direction for 3,000 feet. Completion: fall 2003.
U.S. Route 422 ramp to state Route 5/82 eastbound, closed until further notice. Posted detour is Route 422 to North Leavitt to North River to Route 45. Completion: fall 2003.
State Route 46 over the Mahoning River, reduced to one 12-foot lane in each direction for a distance of 3,000 feet. Eastbound traffic has been crossed over, and all traffic has been placed on the westbound lanes. Completion: Fall 2003.
Passing lanes of state Route 82/Route 5 in Howland Township, closed. Completion: Fall 2003.
MERCER COUNTY
Pa. Route 60, Interstate 80 to the Lawrence County line: Crack sealing.
North Water Avenue, Sharon: Crack sealing.
Fredonia and Hadley roads, Perry and Fairview townships: Portion closed for paving.
Airport Road, Perry and Fairview townships: Portion closed for paving.
U.S. Route 19, Perry Township: Portion closed for paving.
Baker Road, Otter Creek Township: Portion closed for paving.
Donation Road, Delaware, Hempfield and Otter Creek townships: Portion closed for paving.
Carlisle Road, West Salem Township: Portion closed for paving.
Leech Road, Greenville: Drainage improvements.
River Road, South Pymatuning Township, Shoulder stabilization.
Ivanhoe Road, Orangeville Road to the Ohio line: Shoulder cutting.
Longview Road and Mercer Avenue, Hermitage: Shoulder cutting.
