MONEY LIST Golfers see plenty of Green, rewarded for their success

Consistency has put Ohio native Tammie Green at the top.

VIENNA -- Tammie Green's second-place finish in the 2001 Giant Eagle LPGA Classic kept her on top of the tournament's money list.
Green, an Ohio native from Somerset, is the only golfer on the LPGA Tour who has played in all 12 previous tournaments held in the Mahoning Valley.
The 16-year LPGA veteran has won this tournament twice (1994 and 1997), both coming at Avalon Lakes Golf Course.
In addition to her two wins, Green was second in 2001, third in 1991 and fourth in 1995.
Her earnings from this tournament are $375,280.

The tournament's second leading money winner is 21-year-old Dorothy Delasin.
She has played in only two Giant Eagle events, but won them back-to-back -- in 2000 at Avalon Lakes and last year at Squaw Creek Country Club.
Delasin, who won $150,000 each year, will be back for a shot at three in a row, which could put her into the money lead, unless Green was to finish second again.
South Korean Se Ri Pak holds down the No. 3 spot on the list with $240,286, and she's done it in just four years, including the 1998 championship.
Michelle McGann, the only other two-time and back-to-back winner of this event, is fourth on the list with $203,384.
McGann won in 1995 and 1996. She also played in the last 11 tournaments here, missing only the inaugural event in 1990.
One of the tournament's fan favorites and the only non-winner here among the top nine on the money list is Dottie Pepper.
Pepper has played in 11 of the 12 events here, missing only 2000 when she was injured and has won $199,109.
Former champions Jackie Gallagher-Smith (1999), Deb Richard (1991) and Nancy Lopez (1993) hold the next three spots on the list.
Gallagher-Smith, who has played here eight times, has earned $168,486, while Richard, a nine-time participant, has earned $165,307.
Lopez, who is making her final appearance in the valley this year, has played here eight times and earned $153,530.
The final two players among the tournament's top 10 are 1992 champion Betsy King and non-winner Kelly Robbins.
Both have played here eight times, with King earning $120,895 and Robbins making $120,547.
Four other golfers have earned over $100,000 at this event.
They include Pat Hurst ($120,191 in five tries), Donna Andrews ($107,794 in 10 events), Kim Saiki ($104,665 in eight) and Beth Daniels ($101,831 in three tries), who won the inaugural tournament here in 1990.
Of the top 40 money winners in this tournament, 26 of them will be competing again this year, including eight of the top 10, as only Richard and King have not committed to the event.
