MARY GERSTHUNTER MORRIS
AUSTINTOWN -- Mary Ellen Gerst, 2254 Sprucewood Drive, and Hunter Morris, 4939 Ridgewood Court, Stow, were married at 2 p.m. June 15 at St. Joseph Church.
Parents of the bride are Robert and Grace Gerst of the Sprucewood Drive address, and the groom's parents are the Rev. Kenneth and Linda Morris, 270 Prospect, Berea.
The Rev. James Korda and the groom's father solemnized the marriage, and a reception was held at the D.D. and Velma Davis Education and Visitor Center at Mill Creek Park.
After a honeymoon on the Hawaiian island of Maui, the couple live at the groom's address.
The bride's white satin A-line gown was enhanced with a beaded band at the neckline, spaghetti straps and a detachable train.
Navy-blue ensembles were worn by honor attendants Pamela Jadue and Christine Ricottilli, the bride's sisters, and the bridesmaids, Gina Pallo; Nicole Labadie; and Charity Bopp, Heather Lanzetta and Holly Khatchadurian, sisters of the groom. Flower girls were her nieces, Anna Maria Jadue and Isabella Ricottilli.
Joe Hudak was best man, and groomsmen were Bob Gerst, the bride's brother; Jason Hradil; Mark Freeman; Brian Hill; John Joyce; and Matt Stanton. Ring bearers were her nephews, Michael and Joseph Jadue and Liborio Ricottilli.
The bride is a teacher with Southeast Local Schools in Ravenna.
The groom is an exhibit-design specialist with Cleveland Metroparks in Brecksville.
